One of my favorite places in the world is under the canopy of the forest. Looking up and seeing the way branches climb up and around each other is a magical experience. In this piece, I have used dendritic quartz - dendrites are branch-like inclusions of iron, manganese, or other metallic oxides that create patterns within the gem.
